Classical Wisdom

Thanks to Scott Brummel for this suggestion.

Many humans experience the effects of unnecessary ignorance because they refuse to study and honor our Greek and Roman heritage.  Textbook authors are cautioned not to have “old material” in their manuscripts as if all wisdom were but an accumulation of more and better insights, trumping the blathering of yesteryear.

Those of us feverishly trying to make up for our mistaken lack of attention to the wisdom (and foibles) of the Greeks and Romans can find abundant help for modern minds at  Classical Wisdom and its weekly newsletter.
